About the founder
India Patterson
"Hi, I'm India Patterson. StrandVoice started with a new haircut — and the realization that taking care of it on my own, between visits with my stylist, was harder than I expected. Dawn, my stylist with Hair by Dawn Katera, gave me incredible guidance, but I wanted her with me every step of the way — which, of course, isn't possible.
So I built Zara: a voice that could support me when Dawn wasn't there, and help keep Dawn updated on my journey in between. But it grew into something bigger than hair. Your hair, your makeup, the way you style yourself, the colors you wear — it's all connected to how you feel as a woman. StrandVoice is my way of showing up for every woman's journey, not just her hair — and helping her feel elevated, every step of the way."
